Introducing new kitten to older cat
Hi, just wondering what advise people could offer about introducing a new kitten to an 9 year old shy cat.
I'm reading loads on line just wondered what people could offer from experience please. Kitten was 5 weeks when she first turned up (no history found in town) far too young to be away from mama but shes been to vets, very healthy and now about 10 weeks old..... will enjoying reading peoples experiences. thank you |

She's a bit immature and will need a lot of teaching on how to be a cat. Some cats look after kittens very well.

They will be fine. Cats don't always like to have friends. They may really like each other or they may just live in the same house but ignore each other. I had three of different ages who just coexisted but we're never friends.
