Mock turtle soup
On the How-To Geek site there is a trivia question about mock turtle soup. The interesting thing is that it claims that it is still popular. Really? I've never seen it in the supermarkets or on menus. Is it popular in the UK?

Take a large calf's head. Scald off the hair. Boil it until the horn is tender, then cut it into slices about the size of your finger, with as little lean as possible. So nope, not with this Eel.. |
