Having just axed two characters who most of the cast probably saw as untouchable, I imagine SOC is the type of guy to go "there's the door then", which is good.
At the moment, there are no ongoing affairs for the first time in the show's history just about, so a slow burn Mick/Whitney romance might be on the cards, especially if Linda refuses to leave her mother's and Mick gets frustrated.

Nothing will happen between them. People on here assumed Whitney would sleep with Moose, but she didn't. Things have changed since Whitney last tried to kiss Mick, she is now closer to Linda, so she wouldn't betray her and Mick would never cheat on Linda.

Whitney is probably second choice to Lucy though, Lee was more into Lucy than Whitney when he was the man about town briefly.
