I didn't mind him in the early years but he wasn't so great later on and was a crap presenter. Also rentagob Narinder Kaur doesn't do him any favours.

I thought it was nasty and uncalled for.
I don't remember Brian giving her a negative interview. Did he? To me, it came across likeshe didn't like that he wasn't kissing her backside. She was really nasty on IAC. She came across like the stereotypical popular girl in school and she had a problem with Timmy Mallet and David Van Day from literally the moment they arrived. She literally didn't give them a chance. She's a nasty piece of work. |

He presented it for years how wasn't he given an opportunity? He was an awful host who just used to drool over all the men and gave everyone very easy interviews

I think her put down was all rehearsed. If you listen to it, it sounds like she learnt it off by heart and just said it quickly. Anyone agree?

She's not very bright, bless her. But yes, Dowling was an idiot.

However, we all have different opinions (thankfully), so I'll stick to mine. The OP stated he was ''nasty'' to evicted HM's, he wasn't. McCall gave some HM's harsh eviction interviews, quite simply because she didn't like the person! Willis flounders in eviction interviews too at times. |

I'm sure I heard Nicola add the words "to me" at the end of the sentence, which puts it in a slightly different context to just saying he's crap in general.
It was also her way of asking Emma, and maybe the viewers too, to be nice to her this time. Good luck with that. Brian still sucks though. He knew how to portray himself well on the show, apart from the odd slip-up (Hi Josh), but that ego was growing by the day. I'm glad the show got rid before his head could no longer fit the screen. The fact Narinder felt the need to respond is typical. I remember the way she was towards Emma just because she dared to take Brian's job (like everyone wanted her to). I think the saying goes - sometimes it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool rather than speak and remove all doubt. |

I agree with Nicola! Brian is possibly my worst housemate of all time, I have no idea how he won the first time let alone UBB as well :/

What did Brian actually say to her? I don't remember him being nasty but I do agree that he was not a good presenter. No idea how he got to do six series, he must have friends in the right places.
I felt he wasn't very supportive to housemates when they were getting a vile response from the crowds so maybe that's what she means. Emma had a better manner which makes the contestant feel they have somebody on their side. I just thought he was terrible and six series is plenty of opportunity to improve!! |

I wouldn't analyse what Nicola said, there's not much actual thought that goes into her statements
![]() I wish she'd shut up about her husband and kids as well, I feel like I hate them without even knowing them

As a presenter Brian was crap and didn't have a clue how to handle the Nicola interview. She didn't have a great time in the house and he didn't know how to extract a good interview. Brian was no Davina McCall so was treated like shit when he was replaced with Emma by C5.
I think Nicola had the problem how she was interviewed as she never had a good time in the house and wanted to leave! |

What on earth are you on about? Brian presented BB for two editions of Big Brother and four editions of Celebrity Big Brother. Hardly for years!
I actually liked Brian as a housemate but he clearly wasn't the right person for the job |

[quote=ABCZYX;85061966]Really? Worse than someone who spits in another HM's face and then mocks them for crying about it? Worse than someone who threatens to rape another HM with an epilator ? /QUOTE]
Indeed so - and then being rewarded with £50,000. |
