Only if they chose him due to his age, rather than his ability to entertain - which is the criteria. I didn't hear anybody say let's pick the old guy because he's old.

Racism, with regard to Stacey, would only be an issue if they chose her due to her race - seeing as nobody was heard mentioning that as a reason for picking her, assuming the reason was racism would be exactly that - an assumption, unless mind reading was involved.

It makes me uncomfortable to be honest, the assumption that every time a person of a different race is in the room, all the other people see is their race and not just another person. Not everybody thinks or cares about the race of each person in a room, sometimes they just see another person.
