Another Ian Lee thread
For those unaware, he has a radio show on Talk Radio (Late nights with Ian Lee) & its absolutely brilliant!. He was great on BOTS & more credible than Rylan in every way. He's very candid on his show & talks about real issues like his depression for instance. Put it this way it certainly reveals a side to him you wouldn't expect. There's a channel on youtube that uploads them, just search Matthew Stephenson

I used to watch the weekend BOTS and not bother with the weekday editions just because Iain Lee made them so much more entertaining. They should have dropped Rylan and kept Iain.

Didn't Ian get dropped from BBOTS because he didn't tow the party line at one stage?

The 'news' stories linked to at the bottom of the Listen Live page are seriously behind the times.

Thanks for the OP.
They're not talking about CBB (yet) but it's much more interesting than watching SOTS. I'm going to take my laptop in the kitchen while I make something to eat, and leave Rylan to it.

Same, Saturdays BOTs was the only 1 worth watching. I've always been aware of who Ian Lee is but that made me a fan of him. His talk show is well worth a listen. There's somethin about him thats engaging which is probably why he got the Talk Radio gig.
I'm not sure if he was sacked from BOTs but I know he was from other radio's. He mentioned he had a breakdown not too recently. I couldn't imagine Rylan on radio, he'd be insufferable.. |

I've become de-sensitized to Rylans awfulness now. He's on my box that much that I've kinda just given up. The best I can do is throw at my slippers at the screen in disgust. Rest assured, Lee's show is the perfect anecdote to the shit he serves on the side.

I used to love watching Ian Lee on Bit on the Psych on Saturdays. He was so funny, irreverent and cutting and quite happy to speak his mind - which is probably why he isnt on anymore - cant have someone actually saying what they think!
There was a brilliant episode with Calum from BB14 where Ian just laid into him for his behavior towards Charlie in the house. And surprise, surprise he was suspended for the next episode or two. |

I couldn't stand him on BOTS. I found him rude and nasty. But in other stuff, he is actually a great and likable guy.
