What was the point of Kasim? He acted keen on FInn and then lost interest really fast. I know Finn was a bit full on but Kasim should have understood his Dad and cousin had just died and been a bit more understanding.

The point is Kasim is really hot I hope he hasn't left

I was surprised they had another gay couple on the show though seeing as they already have a big gay couple. Prefer Finn and Kasim to the other 2 though.

Has he really gone? If he has then that was really pointless. I thought he was going to remember something about the accident and Emma realising he may have seen her on bridge or something. I really didn't like the way they wrote Finn though. He turned very needy and annoying

I was more surprised at the timing as if my old memory serves me right Kasim showed up in the village shortly after Lawrence and Ronnie said they were stepping out.

Stepping out. I like your turn of phrase. More people should step out.

If he's not going to play a part in the outing of Emma, there was no point in introducing him at all. Maybe he will somehow team up with Ashley?

Nothing.

Good point about the 3 gay couples though - that's unusual for a soap.

Didn't know there were 3. I've only watched Finn and Kasim's clips on YouTube. I know about Robert and Aaron though, who is the third one? Laurence and Ronnie, are they an older gay couple?

Yes in real life Lawrence/John Bowe is 66 and Ronnie/John McCardle is 67.

Yes, they are, and by far the most interesting.

Yes, I really like them and they're the most believable out of the three.

To prove Finn is a wet rag of a character and doesn't work with anyone?

The older couple sounds interesting, esp because there are not many older gay couples. I don't like the look of Robert and Aaron much, but Kasim and Finn were a dream.

Lawrence and Ronnie are the one really original thing Emmerdale has done recently.

I like that Kasim and Finn had at least one fan! They didn't really work for me, but I didn't like the writing at all - this sudden turning Finn into a needy clingy fella was just too weird and jarring, and Kasim didn't have enough backstory.

Don't have anything against them in principle though - think they're both cuties actually.

Finn has always been very needy and annoying. The fact he is acting like mini-Emma is no surprise.

Ashely's dementia storyline? Especially the ep' filmed from his perspective - that has NEVER been done before.

How's that for original?

.... or the car crash pile-up filmed from different victims' perspectives - the same day's event playing out over five days... THAT'S never been done before.

They are more singular events rather than storyline wise.

I'm guessing it's going to be the start of a stalking storyline for Finn.

Seconded. Dreadful character - even worse than Pete and that's saying something. Fed up of his one facial expression and supposedly droll lines, delivered with the same monotone. Get rid.

I'm guessing it's going to be the start of a stalking storyline for Finn.
The start?! I think that ship's sailed!

I'll give you Ashley.

But the car crash? Puhleeze. More sensational tosh, soaps churn it out every week now. Woop-de-doo.

To throw the character of Finn under a bus?

Pretty much. Seriously, the showrunners seem to hate him almost as much as they hate Kerry and luvvie luv luv the execrable Tracey. It's a mystery.
