Is it just me, or have the two episodes following New Year's day just focused on Ronnie's death more than Roxy's? It's all been 'but Ronnie was so appy,' and 'what about Jack?' without much grief or shock or emotional leaning towards Roxy. I get that it was Ronnie's wedding so the focus will understandably be more on her - but apart from one very brief mention in a line mentioned her name tonight (was it by Honey? - not sure can't remember ) its like there was only only death.
Can't remember a time when EE has killed off TWO main characters at the same time so maybe it makes more dramatic sense to concerntrate on one death at a time. It is after all a HUGE risk to loose two of your biggest characters in one go, And also, I geuss they'll make out that Ronnie was the 'good' sister because she went to save Roxy - the bad' sister on drugs. Sad really, because apart from Donna and then previously Christian, Roxy never really had any close friends or allies who will mourn her. The Mitchells have usually sided with Ronnie. Apart from Glenda - who I thought gave a really moving performance tonight - especially glammed down, who else is there to mourn her?
