This came over more as a comical farce to me rather than a survival challenge.
Poor fellow lasted 3 hours before being struck down with a bug, but then went back to an idyllic existence of guitar strumming, sightseeing and (albeit unsuccessful) fishing.
I thought he left looking more refreshed and healthier than when he arrived, despite the fact that he, (and his chicken), had no discernable nourishment or refreshment.

Still enjoyed it, but couldn't take it seriously!

Robson, while lying on his bunk on the beach gazing out at the sea, saying ..

" People would pay thousands, to be doing this ..."

Whereas, he was probably being paid thousands to be doing that !

I enjoyed it but then I always had a bit of a thing for Robson.

I thought he came across as quite witty.

I did wonder about the point of the chicken though but I missed its introduction due to my fella talking to me like he always does when I'm watching something.

Presumably to lay some eggs which it didn't do. Or keep him company.

Liked it on the whole, but found Robson a bit of a wuss, I could get malaria so I am sleeping in a tent. Assumedly he will have took precautions against malaria before he flew out. That all said, not bad.

One of the most well provisioned castaways ever seen on a desert island

Robson's worst programme ever,
even this he just turned into an excuse to do some fishing.

Pathetic.

Did you not enjoy the programme then? Or did you refuse to watch it on principle?

I realised that he would not be on his own because there would be a camera crew. In fact a doctor was on hand straight away! He got over the gastro enteritis though and went back. Rather contrived and really probably the worst island they could have chosen with no running water, no coconuts and no animals. He was provided with a boat however to go fishing. He would have died of dehydration and heat exhaustion straightaway. A very contrived and self indulgent exercise I suppose although in an odd way I sort of enjoyed it.

I didn't watch one minute but principles weren't part of the equation. I love fishing and will watch almost any fishing programme but I had to give up with Robson's show. The man is just an attention seeking bell end and is unwatchable IMO.
