Foxit Reader updates
Has anyone else found that whenever an update to Foxit Reader is installed the internet connection gets lost for a while shortly after?

I've always used Acrobat. Is there any reason to use anything else? (Actually, I didn't know there was anything else.)

Adobe Reader is just bloat.
there are many PDF readers. Chrome has PDF support built-in - no third party reader required. Mac OS has had built-in support for PDF for many many years. |

Adobe Reader is fine, standard install, nothing wrong with it, does the job well. Windows 8.1/10 also has the Reader App as standard which will do PDFs. By default I think Windows 10 uses the Edge Browser for PDFs, but you can change that. 2 PDF readers are standard within Windows 10, so there is no need to install any extra PDF Reader as such, you could say they are all 'bloat'. |
