Is Curly Watts Coming Back To Corrie?
Popsiemia

I have read somewhere that Curly Watts (Kevin Kennedy) would not say no o a return and that he is on good terms wit he Corrie management.
Has anyone hear anything more on his possibility?

Haven't heard anything recently but can't honestly see where he would really fit in to Street life these days!!
Kevin is probably the only character left he has any real connection to!!

He could come back as Chesney's long lost real father. Give the miserable bugger (Ches) something to do.

I wouldn't mind him returning but it's a shame his marriage with Emma didn't last.

I agree but I do remember Curly interacting with Sarah, Gail and David during a stoyline over the closure of the local creche in March 2002:

Axtually despite my earlier post I would far rather he had returned to house share with Norris than Bryan bloody Packman, another character who had no real connection to the Street!!

I don't know who he is but I do know they need another waiter at the Bistro. And right soon, If he has the same cheerful face and permanent smile while serving with a song in his heart like the one that left he'll triple the business.

Indeed.

Fingers crossed that Kate Oates takes no notice.

I certainly hope not. He's from another age entirely. This obsession with returns is getting out of hand, they used to be exceptional not routine and it isn't helped by journalists constantly asking ex-soap actors casually if they'd ever be adverse to returning and then blowing the thing up into an article that makes it sound like it's entirely probable.

No - juastt a sad lonely past it actor lamenting his time on the soap and saying he'd like to return on the off chance the EP sees the comment feels sorry for them and hores them again. John Altman (Nick) and Ricky Norwood (Fatboy) have tried similar tactics for EastEnders and Emmerdale recently

Hopefully not, or Curly will be back as an over the top bad boy sleeping with half the street, impregnating most of the women, etc. He'll probably have some dark secret as well and feud with someone.
