Nigel Farage is a such hypocrite!
Can't believe no-one has challenged Nigel Farage on his principles. Throughout the Referendum debate he painted the EU as an undemocratic money pit, fleecing member states, financing 'loopy' projects and providing a very lucrative 'gravy train' career for it's MEPs.
Today he welcomes the resignation of the UK Ambassador to the EU, and hopes many others involved in the EU should also resign. Yet he chooses to remain an MEP for the duration of his term, drawing a lucrative salary, expenses and pension contributions. If he had any morals he would have resigned months ago and distanced himself from any financial gain. None of his salary will find itself supporting the NHS. |

Currently an MEP receives €8020.53 per month before tax which is first taxed by the EU reducing it to €6250.37, which is then subject to UK NI and income tax just like anyone else.

Or is it like his claim that a company he had been a director was paying twice as much as it owed to HMRC, but shortly after he said that the Company was wound up still owing the the original £100,000 and the administrator questioning the legality of cash withdrawals from the firm. |

What you mean like all those Labour MPs who opposed Corbyn's leadership only to nuckle down and continue working for him while taking their 10% etc pay increases.
But since you mention Labour MPs... Quote:
At least Farage took/takes a lot of personal abuse, hate crime and negative media coverage against him for his money.
(I have checked my facts and happy to confirm my process, research and evidence) |
