Agreed. I know Speidi can be nasty characters but when he initially approached her outside, he was being nice, told her not to take it seriously as it's just a game show and that they'll all be punished at some point so try not to be upset...he even offered her his coat because she said she was cold and asked her to let him know if she needed anything. Heidi then collected up all the blankets to make sure Stacey was warm and comfortable enough outside.

I actually thought she was rude and defensive in her response to both of them - particularly as on the producers VT they clearly showed Speidi and Austin saying not to edit her out.

I think they initially felt a bit of an affinity with her because she's American but in taking out her irritation on Spencer outside - and later on picking a fight with Heidi - she has just made herself a target for them instead. That's when he started making up the 'rules' to wind her up and openly admitted they were going to push her buttons.

Stacey picked a fight and then pleaded the victim when she got a reaction. I also found a similar change of tack when she realised her "sharing a bed with a gay boy" comments were actually coming across as distaste...and then pleaded the victim that no one understood her humour. I imagine she's one of those people who has a great deal of 'unwanted' drama in her life...most of it self-inflicted.

I love a house diva normally but unfortunately Stacey lacks the wit and charm to send herself up. It's a crucial quality for someone to be truly fabulous.
I like Stacey but agree with this entire analysis 110%

Loads of people indeed 😎 It's a strange state of affairs when fans of a self proclaimed WUM have to defend him by saying 'no he wasn't winding Stacy up' and he was actually being nice. What is the point of Speidi being in there if they are just going to be nice 🙄

Anyway I'm with the loads of people who saw Spencer deliberately try to wind Stacy up.
Well, you are with the wrong load of people in that case!

BIB He's got a maximum of five weeks to wind everybody in the house up so there is no need to hit the ground running by starting within the first few hours.

Spencer made it clear that he did not want Stacey edited out but was bulldozed by James Jordan and gang. Him trying to initially reassure her and make sure she was ok would be entirely consistent with the fact he didn't vote for her. He only switched on Stacey when she totally misread the situation and basically told him to "Do one".
