Not really, as I said above, it's more Lawrence & Ronnie than Aaron & Robert.

Indeed, and in fairly short order.

Handy, how he emerged from behind the van at just the right (or perhaps wrong) moment.

I'm afraid so.

I'm not surprised. He's a thoroughly nasty bit of goods.

It's pretty dark right now.

He's a rapist, and he doesn't even know it. Paddy looks quite benign now, doesn't he?

Ha ha Tefiboi, he needs to put that on his dating profile. I'm a cheat and a stalker but much better than a rapist.

I know what you mean, but it would be true!!!

You're quite right about the lessons in consent. The law has changed, and quite rightly too. The really scary thing is that Pierce seems totally unaware of what he's done.

This is all turning very predictable. I hope Pierce dies or goes to prison before he gets a chance to go full Cameron.

It does seem like he hasn't a clue what he did was wrong, which is why I'm praising it as well done.

Can't agree that he needs to go before going full Cameron, I hated that SOB but he made the show a lot of fun to watch.

I loved the Cameron storyline and I agree he made the show a lot of fun, but I don't wanna see a repeat of that storyline. There's no way they'll be able to top it IMO.

The Cameron pay off was goo,d but the months of tedium leading it to it were awful.

'We can't do this to Debbie' him and Chas would say, then they'd do it to Debbie (not like that, filthy).

In scene after scene after scene after scene.

Actually you all have a point with the Cameron stuff. The denouement was amazing, including when he killed Gennie but a lot of it was repetitive bollocks.

A proper low key baddy with the killer potential would be good though.

Making someone a rapist to lessen the sins of someone else.

Now, let me think - which pairing have they used this narrative on already...............................

Yes! Definitely rape. Poor Rhona. Pierce needs locking up.

However, I do agree that it all seems for the purposes of redeeming Paddy which seems unnecessary.

When I was at Uni, in my class, there was a girl from North Wales and a girl from South Wales. They could never agree on pronunciation, but the girl from North Wales said she was proper Welsh not like someone from the Valleys....

In north Wales they say 'rwan' for 'now', here in the south we say, 'nawr'!?

Pembrokeshire (above the Landsker) and south Ceredigion Welsh is quite distinctive too.

The north Walian vowels are very tight and produced right at the back of the throat, here, in the south, they are broader and more open.

There was a BBC children's television programme in Welsh called Telewele, I seem to remember, back in the early 1960s. We didn't have the tele at the time, but I seem to recall seeing the titles, at the very least, in my Grandmother's neighbour's house. That's one possibility.

Then there was the precursor to Harlech TV - TWW - could that be it?
