Anyone watching?

I have already fallen in love with Italy again just from that view over the Bay of Naples.

Very impressive so far. That underground quarry was amazing.

I think I'll watch this tomorrow on Catch Up...............the clips on the trailer look good

But there seems to have been a hell of a lot of 'Italy' shows on TV in the last couple of years.......... both Roman and Modern

I wonder if there'll be much that we haven't seen

The production on this one is top-notch and the 3D/VR stuff is very well done.

I thought that was excellent - it was great to see hidden parts of the city which one would never normally get to see.

Seeing that mosaic floor under the ocean being uncovered was wonderful.

Italy really is the most beguiling place.

Loved it. I adore Michael Scott anyway and Alexander Armstrong is so enthusiastic that you can't help but get swept up right along with him!

Completely agree with you!
This was a delight.
Their enthusiasm (especially at the underwater mosaic) was just lovely.

Just watching on iPlayer. Surprisingly good for BBC1 - it feels more like a BB4 programme. Yes, there are lots of series in Italy but the 3d imaging did add something different (an extra dimension?!) from the other documentaries.

Naples has always been on my to do list but for whatever reason I've never made it there.

It was all fascinating.
I loved the gigantic magma chamber right under Naples, ready to pop in any random millenium.
Scary.
