This show has been going on for a while now, everyone knows exactly how it works, they know that someone who hasn't asked for it. will be forced to choose someone to be "punished" (but lets be honest, its hardly hard labour!) based on nothing but a whim.

...So why do they end up acting like 1) The bottom has fallen out of their word, and 2) There is anything personal about it or try to rationalise their selection?

Surely they don't genuinely forget the nature of the game they are playing within hours of beginning it? Why try to rationalise, why not just shrug and get on with it?

Great point - I also wonder why they take things so personally. It's quite funny really.

If I was picked out like Stacy was, I would definitely feel upset about it. No one wants to be picked out and separated from the crowd on the first night when they're all getting to know each other. I felt very sorry for her.

Really??? It's only a game .... (with a nice pay packet.)

Plus it's sort of worked the other way, Stacey is getting loads of air time. If she'd have acted with a bit more humility, she'd have come across as much more likable.

But by the same token they all understand how the game works and they had to pick someone, so why not her?

She sulked like a child. Pathetic.

I don't think she was particularly upset about the being edited out part as much as the Ray J situation to be fair to her. Yes it was freezing cold out there and it's not nice - even BB had to move her inside, can't have the talent getting ill this series as well! - to be separated from the group whilst the others get to know each other, plus Spencer lying to her and trying to wind her up and Heidi then winding her up (we saw a lot more of that on Live Feed), but from watching what we all watched last night and tonight, most of her upset from the time she got in there and saw Ray J is about him and their personal issues.

She really seemed to be knocked by him being there, which would hardly put her in the best mindset.

Just my opinion of course.

She also doesn't know she's getting lots of air time and I certainly don't understand the humility part.

She doesn't know that though.

But it's basically judging someone on first appearances and surely no one wants to be judged badly (which is what it is, in effect)? I can't be alone in thinking I would be really upset if that was me.
