Hi all.
Who remembers the TV programme 'catweazle' first aired on British TV in 1969 ? There were 2 series.. and both starred Geoffrey Bayldon. |

The mother in law always remembers when Catweazle first ate a banana. He peeled it, ate the skin and threw away the rest.

I must admit though, the first series was my favourite... the one with Robin Davies, who played the boy 'Carrot' The second series was ok, ... the one which starred Gary Warren as 'Owl Face', but personally I think they should of stopped with the first series. |

http://www.catweazlefanclub.co.uk I'm all for running sites and blogs for worthwhile memorabilia but much can be done and is done au gratis. I would have liked to join in on the forum but not for that price. It's all a bit cloak and dagger. |

A childhood favourite for me too!
![]() I assume Geoffry Blaydon was actually much younger than Catweazle? Although I suppose life in Norman England would be a bit harsh for a hermit! You use Electrickery to put the Sun in a bottle? |
