I noticed that... Well there were some posts on here about her religious views so I guess that ties in with it

She'd be the first to jump up and down if Ray J was referred to as 'the black boy'.

I'm strongly disliking her, thus far,

She said she was being sarcastic. To be honest I had no idea what that whole conversation was even about lol Austin didn't want to sleep with Brandon, but he didn't mind sleeping with Austin? So she was saying so Brandon is ok sleeping with the gay boy? As in, it's supposed to be the opposite ...(like straight men usually have the problem)? If that's the case then yeah I believe she was being ironic. Like James though, American and their humour, I just don't get it

I am not liking her at all. I don,t like that thing she did, realising she,d said the wrong thing then pretended it was a joke.

I think she was displaying some shades of character truth there with her "sarcastic" comment.

she just can't remember the names yet, in another scene she referred to James J as "knob boy"

Meh. She probably calls all men 'boys', and he is gay. Just because "gay boy" is used as a pejorative in British schoolyards it doesn't mean that she meant it rudely. She was only joking, or claimed to be joking, about who would feel (un)comfortable sharing a bed, not about using that term.

That said, there would be nothing offensive about her referring to Ray J as the black boy either.

May as well stick with boy - people refer to the women as girls all the time, let's turn them all into children, mostly they behave like little kids (or big nippers ).

Girl, you're way behind the times! These days we refer to each other as babies, or 'boo'. Another fifty years from now and we'll be calling each other sperm/egg-related terms of endearment, like 'squirt'.

[Edit] Reminds me of something Stephen Fry once said; that Brian Blessed's nickname for him is "spunk bubble".

That would be the guy whose response to her joking said he didn't think Americans could do that?

Yeah, she nailed that one.
