ITV Hub playback
Sometimes when watching from ITV hub on Samsung Smart TV the picture is 4.3 but the adverts are 16.9 All 4 and BBC iplayer are fine any suggestions?

Because the source pictures are 4:3 format but the ads were shot in 16:9 perhaps?
I've seen this with football in ITV. I'm not a footie fan so reaqlly wasn't paying much attention, but it looked like some of the grounds were still shooting on 4:3 cameras (or these were old matches?) so when viewed on a 16:9 HD TV the transmission was formatted 'pliiarbox' style with black bars left and right. |

No it wasn't filmed in 4.3 brand new series. It really isn't proper 4.3 its more squashed.
