Spencer pretends he doesn't give a shit and Heidi goes along with it. They are fabulous.

What's to love about nasty people deliberately winding others up?

Not taking it too far? There's "desperate to win" and then there's Speidi. The desperation oozes out of them.

So is it your opinion that only Speidi are desperate to win?

I can already see a few lining up against them for no other reason than thinking they can best them. It's pretty obvious who they are, so will leave you to explain why those hms are so desperate to beat Speidi and therefore win?

Um... where did I say that it's only Speidi that are desperate to win?

Speidi are massive wind up merchants and the others know this from having seen them before on BB. They won't have liked them because of this and are understandably wary of them, so this may be why they aren't comfortable with them being there.

I don't get why he said that there wasn't a "dark cloud" in his series then.
Because he has zero-self awareness and doesn't realise how he comes across like a transparent asshole

Austin seems to love James Jordan whose entire schtick is absolutely nothing but "i'm a wind-up merchant".

they're entertaining. really enjoy watching them.

for people that actually get angry and aggravated by them, that's also hilarious.

it's just reality tv. it's not real life. no need to care that much. relax. enjoy.

They seem pretty normal to me, albeit that Americans don't know how our BB works. They were victimised and isolated in their last series and a lot of viewers went with the pack, now anything they say is often deliberately misinterpreted and resented by some.

Whats so bad is that they are being presented to us (and are representing themselves) as some sort of arch schemers and master manipulators. They are not. They are dullards. And simpletons. Only once has spencer ever sparked my interest and that was when razor ruddock was going to batter him that one time. But it never happened so even then spencer ultimately disappointed me.

Americans don't know how it works? Spencer and Heidi have watched every season. What they are trying to do is revive their 'career' as Speidi, which has been dead in the US for more than 4 years. They were never victimised, it was them isolating themselves from other people as to create a divide for the show. Just like they have started doing now, History will repeat itself, wait and see...

They appear to still think it's a game show rather than a popularity contest. With few exceptions it's the quiet ones who win.

I tend to agree with the previous post that much of their 'master gameplayer' reputation is promoted by the BB producers, just as they do with BB dweeb Dexter Koh.

They are vain ar$eholes, but they will make the series more interesting.

It would be boring to have a housefull of nice people.

I think they go in with intention to create a divide with the intention of being given their own quarters for sleeping and where they get meals delivered.

i think you're watching their last season.

but as a reminder, speidi didn't build the basement they were put in last time. bb created the basement, locked them in, and had them watch the other HMs talk shit about them. of course it created a divide...that's what secret rooms are meant to do. speidi just played the roles they were given.

yes, I just find them really dull, especially Spencer, he seems very dim-witted, you have to wait a few seconds before his brain has processed what you have said

Yes the basement was already there and originally occupied by a few housemates after that task was over it appeared that they managed to get their way and get back in there. I also remember something about them having some kind of OCD and claimed new toiletries daily.
