This Rebecca/Aaron/Robert bullshit is putting me off the show, not only do they have no chemistry with eachother, its also a sl going nowhere. Its just to show the "robron fandom" that Robert is a changed man and that he will reject the pretty blonde girl for the love of his life..zzzzzz
The writers really don't know what to do with Robron, if they wanted to capitalize on the couples popularity they would have kept them apart for years. Those two are best when they are at odds against each other, the happy BS doesn't work and even the Robron stans will get bored of it.

Also my New Year's resolution. Don't really believe in them, but enjoying this one.

Personally I don't give a stuff about "chemistry". Just give me a decent, well-written story. I didn't get that with Kasim.

Ross is completely wasted on this show. But it's true that nobody feels quite like themselves on the show any more. David seems out of character all the time as well, and does Kerry (obviously), and Finn's been changed as well.

Hopefully this year is a big one for Ross, the Emma reveal and the Rebecca stuff should give him plenty to do (hopefully).

I don't think they have ever been interesting or fun together, and if they weren't good looking then that "fandom" wouldn't exist.

I disagree with that, I like Robron at first they had good chemistry and the affair was filled with drama but after Katie's death it all went wrong and Aaron turned into Robert's victim, then they decided Robert needed to be redeemed so they could justify the pairing which was another mistake.

I think Robron could be made interesting again. They could have Robert's craig's list hitman resurface and tell Aaron that Robert was going to have Chas killed, leading Aaron to call it all off. Maybe Aaron could start dating someone else (not Finn though) and Robert could plot to break them up.

Or they could both...die...or leave? Id rather see that happen.

Now come on, you can't get rid of two of the most popular characters just because you don't like them. Hell I can't stand Debbie but if I was in charge of the show I wouldn't get rid of her.

Fine then, I'll keep Robert, Aaron can still do one though. The show done alright without him last time he left.

Come on, I really like Aaron. You know he was what drew me to Emmerdale in the first place, watching his story on youtube. I had never seen a gay character be so central to a show or see a character struggle so much with their sexuality. I get you don't like him but Aaron is a great character for gay guys like myself who are more masculine and don't fit into the normal stereo types.

He's a big character, and Danny is a good actor, no doubt, but I still think he's massively overused. 2015 was the year when it was all about Ross, he was getting the lion share of storylines and winning awards, but they rested him for a full year after that. I just feel like we can't go a few days without seeing Aaron make an appearance, the same with Tracy aswell.

To be fair though Aaron hasn't had much of a story the last few months, he's been on screen a lot but he's hardly driving story. As for Ross I think he's only being rested because Debbie isn't here, if she were he'd have been featured just as heavily in 2016 as he was in 2015.

I think a Ross/Debbie/Rebecca love triangle will happen tbh.

That does't inspire me

Rebecca meh and you know my feelings on Debbie. Chrissie would work better and I think Ross might be able to bring out Chrissie's human side again.

I actually think Ross has a heart and cares about people we've see it with Donna, Finn, Moses and unfortunately Resting Bitch Face. With Robert I don't think he is capable of loving anyone, I fee like he would turn on Aaron in a second if it suited him, he proved that when the left Lawrence for dead and told Aaron all that BS about how he had changed him.

I agree, but Ross and Chrissie would be very volatile though.

That'd be a good thing. The show is missing that right now.

Like I say, if they added Ross to the mix up at Home Farm it could be brilliant. You'd have Ross constantly winding Lawrence up, and Lachlan would be learning from him.

You just want Ross involved in everything Him with the Whites as Chrissie's BF would be good but not with Rebecca.

Well not everything, I would want him joining in with Brenda and Bob in the bedroom for example.

Sorry, that was meant to say "wouldn't".

Also the way Ross has been going on, I wouldn't put it past him.

Will forgive Iain MacLeod for all the crap he's done if we get a Ross/Robron sex scene

I enjoy watching ED with the comedy and drama.

I gave up on EastEnders six years ago because I found it was rubbish, and kept moaning about it. Why watch something you don't enjoy?

Oh that's right. You would rather come on here, and constantly moan about a programme, pledge to give up on it, only to then still watch the next episode.

Emmerdale does NOT need a shake up. I have voted for it at this month's NTA's.
