Could this encourage UKTV to make more channels available on Freesat?

Why would increased viewer numbers on Freeview and Sky encourage them to add more to Freesat? Only increased viewing figures from their existing Freesat channels would do that - no mention of those channels there.

Why bother? They'd be better off getting UKTV Play on to Freesat IMO.

Or if Freesat viewers are really that desperate for more UKTV just buy an Amazon Fire Stick...

Why would increased viewer numbers on Freeview and Sky encourage them to add more to Freesat? Only increased viewing figures from their existing Freesat channels would do that - no mention of those channels there.
It has been mentioned that Drama which is FTA and on FS, has also done very well increasing viewing figures over the year. No mention of Eden or Home though as these have been poorer performers historically.

I believe long term UKTV will make more services FTA and when carriage capacity permits, add to Freeview as well as Freesat. If I had to predict which channel would next appear on Freeview it would be Eden.
