I hope they're not getting rid of Jack just as he's getting interesting as a character.

It's hard to invest in all these characters and stories if you're just going to write them out (Danny Boy Hatchard and Scott Maslen)!

It'd be a big gripe of mine in a SOC era I'm generally loving.

Yes, considering they did have sexy times together, and he use to call her blue eyes.
The whole 'blue eyes' thing went nowhere.

Although what lovely blue eyes they were

I am not a lawyer but surely Glenda is completely shut out of the will and the money including the house sale will go into a Trust for the kids til there 18 and Matthew custody battle.

Anyone know if the script peek has been axed from the BBC EastEnders page or is it not normally there during Xmas holidays?

Did I miss something? Why was Trish Barnes - Tessa Churchard credited? Wasn't she the social worker who was involved in the Lola case?
She's arranging the adoption of Denise's baby.

Carter theme-night-Dicky-Ticker-knees-up-trifle-family--karaoke-flamingo-dress-up-party number 4087. They are recycling scripts at this point. Who signs off on this utter shit?
Lol.

I reckon they have all those phrases, plus a few more (ladies' night, darts match etc) and pick them out of a hat at random every couple of weeks, when they can't think of anything for the Carters to do.

Any will Ronnie made before she married Jack will have become invalid once they were married. He is now her next of kin, so everything of Ronnie's should go to him.

Anything Ronnie and Roxy owned jointly is a bit more complicated. Were they joint owners of the house, or was it just Ronnie's? If it was jointly owned, and they were tenants in common, it could all become part of Ronnie's estate if it can be proven that Roxy predeceased her.

Roxy's estate will become Amy's, and will be held in trust.

I hope Jack doesn't leave. It would be interesting to explore how he deals with being a single father on the Square and grieving for his wife.

I'd like to think it's a red herring for him to stay but after Shabnam left due to a new job, I wonder if Jack actually leaves despite being persuaded to stay by Max, etc. Of course Rakhee Thakrar quit her role, if Jack left I'd assume that Scott Maslen has indeed been axed.

There is another similarity too. Shabnam also left partly because she didn't want to stay in Walford knowing that Kush cheated on her and Arthur lives nearby as a constant reminder. Jack said that he wants to leave due to the constant reminders of Ronnie in Walford so he can't carry on that way.

I see tonight's is the start of a SL for Babe but I have this thought that something is not right with her managing the accounts and I suspect she is exacerbating Mick's financial problems as she is losing money
