For his wrongful arrest and imprisonment? He must be loaded but he still dresses really, really weird.

glad someone has brought this up. Serving 9 months or so is certainly worth a decent chunk of money.
It'll be conveniently forgotten about though. Just like the £2k Jay stole from the funeral directors. |

I think UK justice prefers defendants to be released by them and not take freedom into their own hands, innocent or not!! ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIluQTtg85A |

How would you expect him to dress if he's received the compensation then; Top Hat and Tails?

I get your point, but didn't Max do a runner at one point. I have visions of him jumping the dock and punching a police officer whilst escaping!!

I deal with a government funded compensation scheme on a daily basis... trust me, it would be more unrealistic if he had it already.

Yes, he should have returned to the square with air of the country gent, saying things like "kneel peasant!" And slapping miscreants or disrespecters with a glove.

He's driving a new car and is wearing a flashy watch so I think he got a right bit.

Anyway, I agree he would get compensation but maybe it takes a while. His release from prison is still recent. |

He was then recaptured and returned to prison until his conviction was quashed.
His attempted escape is not relevant in any way. So they could argue, that is the sentence he served during those months. |
