When Jack was wandering round the Square in last night's episode, he looked up and saw that one of the clubs was now called R & R. Seemed a bit odd to me...anyone shed light?

Wasn't it the club the Ronnie and Roxy used to own, I thought it had been closed down but maybe I am wrong.

I swear it'd been turned into a boxing gym around the time of Darth Ronnie, but suddenly stopped appearing, so seeing it as a club again [which we never see anymore] last night was a bit weird!

R&R belongs to Ronnie (cant remember if Roxy has a share in it tho!) - she named it R&R after her and Roxie

I have no idea if the club is still open though - it hasnt been "used" in a while

Thanks - I started watching again in 2014 and can't remember it being mentioned.

While the set hasn't been used (and probably been destroyed), its still mentioned occasionally that R and R is still running (although I think Phil owns it now)

Phil was the last owner of the club after he conned Janine out of her share. It's never mentioned...well not since Ronnie cleaned out the safe on her last wedding day.

I thought it had been closed down too, outside the club was a flyer with R&R and 2017 on it so it is definitely still open.

The gym is in the same building as Ian's restaurant.

Why don't Eastenders use the gym or Club?..
