It says her daughter's an aspiring child model. No she isn't - her mother's got high hopes that she will be a child model.

I used to tell Jr to stay away from the kids in the park wearing their Sunday best, all you will get is grief from their parents if anything gets dirty.

I feel very sorry for this woman's little girl, who she is treating like a doll. What her child wears is no reflection on her ability to design at all. It's an excuse - she's reads like one of those Mums who pushes their kids into doing something, whether the child wants to or not.

Let the kid have some play clothes, have some fun, get messy, build up her immune system, be a kid.

I meant it more as the mom treating the kid as a precious snowflake rather than the daughter behaving like one.

I don't think the modelling thing is all that relevant. Babies and toddlers can be photogenic and get some work. How they dress while playing with their friends has nothing to do with it. If this child does some photoshoots she gets paid for that's fine but dressing her like a doll 24/7 must be damaging. Not to mention the mothers behaviour which will undoubtedly wreck any chance the little girl has of making friends in the future. Almost certainly any modelling work she may do won't last. She will get older and the agencies will replace her with other photogenic toddlers. She may have the fanciest clothes in the playpark but she won't have the most friends.

She should have dressed the child in suitable clothes for a party. End of.

If she can easily afford to dress her daughter up in designer label clothes, fair enough. If, however, she's getting herself into debt doing it, that's crazy!

She just looks a thick chav. I didn't make a reference to it in my other post because I didn't want to be accused of misogyny for calling her a stupid woman. So thanks for doing that for me. She's a complete airhead.”

Exactly
