Google are bad enough, but arrogant Apple take the cake
pfgpowell

At about every turn Google seems to intrude into our lives, given its varians iterations, such as Facebook. But Apple just piss me off most of all. I went to http://icloud.com/ to look at my calendar online rather than on my phone and it is demanding that I update my password. Well, I don't want to update my password and when I do, I want to make the f*cking decision to do so, not be told to by some ****ing smug hipster millionaires in f*cking California.

Google have nothing to do with Facebook, and your sweary rant against Apple for trying to protect your security is bizarre.

Spoken like a true fanboy, 'Apple trying to protect my security'. As it happens my password it pretty bloody obscure. But then yours is the kind of response from one who probably cheered every time St Steve Jobs had a bowel movement. I'll repeat: I like to do MY thinking, not sodding Apple. As for ****ing Google, they track your every cough and sneeze and sell the data on: please sign in here, there and bloody everywhere. And you have about five hoops to jump through to get the message through: no, I don't want to be tracked, thank you very much, and have my details and data passed on to cruds who just want to dip into my wallet.. it is smug folk like you who, ironically, make it easy for the crooks.

It's not the medication you need to watch, it's the Kool Aid.

The 'chill' pretty much says it all. Any chance you wear a trendy hipster beard?

I can't stand hipsters either. I wouldn't be seen dead with any Apple product.

So I wonder why you have yours?

I have Apple products and I'm not a hipster, I just prefer them.

I have 2 step authentication on Apple and Google, you can't be too careful.

I understand the frustration. Yahoo FORCED me to change my password recently. There was literately no way of accessing my account until I changed my password. I didn't want to change it so was really annoyed.

Changing passwords regularly is good security practice. It's a requirement in most enterprise applications.

It's common sense to think of why this might be...
