Seriously!! If she's not the worst she's certainly up there!!

Even for Hollyoaks standards...everytime she's on screen I cringe. She just tries way too hard and you can tell she thinks she's amazing but she's AWFUL. I think a piece of mouldy cheese could act better!!

One instance was when her suitcase fell over the other week and she let out a groan that sounded like Veruca Salt on acid!!

Agreed. She's like the worst performer in an an-dram play, who gets the plum roles because she's the directors girlfriend. Embarrassing stuff, even for Hollyoaks.

Lol, agreed, she's definitely up there with the worst. But I think part of the reason for that is because the character is so bloody abysmal and she's portrayed as nothing more than a cartoon villain/schemer ala Cruella de Vil. Even during her more emotional moments, it feels like she's just emotionally manipulating people. She doesn't feel like a real person with real emotions. I don't see her sticking around for much longer, to be honest.

No, no, no...she's divine, I love Marnie and the actress who plays her. Sometimes I loathe Marnie and sometimes I love and root for her, I also enjoy her campness and her mocking laugh, so for me the actress is hitting the right notes as I feel something. Long live the Queen.

I don't mind her at all, she of course plays up the campness stuff, but we have seen a few moments of her softer side.

It's a shame her hospital appointment was as lame as I expected it to be, would have been a good chance to see another side to her, a more real and emotional side, but nope!

I think she's a great actress - she's clearly meant to be playing an over the top camp glamourous super bitch. Just because she's not a downtrodden single mother with money worries who screeches and crys all the time and lives in constant misery doesn't mean she isn't a good actress

I think she plays one part. I was watching look whos talking now? Not sure if thats quite the right name the one with the dogs over christmas and the actress was in it. Honestly if they'd used the name Marnie it could have been the same character

What's wrong with thinking that you are good at what you do? I don't see anything wrong with Dannys performance in EE tbh. I also don't think he brags about being the best either. He comes across as really enjoying his role imo. .

She's not bad at all, shes done a great job of creating a thoroughly despicable character.
