Ultimate Home Cinema Experience?
As a new member, I'd like to thank everyone involved (admins and contributors) for a high-quality forum. After browsing for a few days, and being in the market (soon, hopefully) for a new home cinema set-up, I felt compelled to sign up.
While a critical aspect of any home cinema is the equipment, there are a number of other things that can be done to enhance the whole experience. Here's a few in no particular order. Other suggestions welcome! 1. Hire somebody to rustle a crisp packet every few seconds while watching a film. 2. Arrange for same person to kick the back of your chair at annoyingly regular intervals. 3. Ask him/her to leave their mobile phone switched on, and arrange for someone to call at critical moments during the film. 4. Also hire a few kids to run around the room shouting and throwing sweets around. 5. Make sure the same kids walk in front of your chair to visit the toilet say, every ten minutes. 6. Put a large piece of used, sticky chewing gum on your chair before you sit down. 7. Take an empty drink carton, a handful of popcorn, an empty cigarette packet, a collection of sweet wrappers, another piece of used, sticky chewing gum, about half a pint of pepsi, and scatter these randomly in front of your chair. 8. And finally, for a truly immersive experience, put a pan of hot-dog sausages on to simmer within smelling distance.
