Paperclip symbol
Roulette

I have a Nokia 6230.

Can anyone tell me what the little paperclip type symbol is on the top left of the screen?

It's annoying me and i'd like to get rid of it.

Cheers

Do you get email via your phone?
Could it mean your email has an attachment?

It indicates a multimedia message. You can read the manual online at Nokia's website.

Have only had the phone 2 days. Haven't sent any multimedia messages and doubt very much whether i have been sent any.

When i first switched it on it had a 'G' symbol as well. I knew this was GPRS so i switched it to 'only come on when needed'.

I just can't find anything else in the menus that could relate to this.

Ah well, i guess i'll have to read the book when i get home.

Oh my God.

Out of interest i've just checked my Multimedia Inbox and i had 4 messages in there. They were like dancing phones singing tunes (how strange).

Assume they have been sent my Vodaphone as a welcome kinda thing? It says, sender:Unavailable.

Thanks guys, little symbol has gone
