I have been ringing T-Mobile since March 05 as I am due an upgrade on my contract and am looking to purchase a smart phone. Everyone I have spoke to recommends either the MDA compact or the Blackberry 7290 (Hence the message title). So i thought Id upgrade to one of these handsets and both have been OUT OF STOCK from T-Mobile direct for a month +. They have suggested buying from a T-Mobile retail store but I would rather have it sent directly and if T-Mobile do not have a handset what are th e chances of a retail store having one?
Has anyone ad the same prolems and have the found a way of getting one of these handsets in the last month or so?
