Need some help.. Can't send MMS

I bought a Phillips 355 last week. I know it's a bit of a crap phone, but I didn't have a lot of cash at the time and my old phone was knackered.
Anyway, I am on the virgin net work I've been trying to send picture messages but all I get is "mms not sent" message on the screen. I phoned virgin 4 times and they sent the settings to my phone and I followed the instructions they give me. On the third call they reset my settings at their end and said it would take about an hour to do. That was yesterday. It still won't send mms. I phoned again today and they say they are having problem with mms this morning but my brother who is also on virgin can send picture messages no problem..

You need to get Virgin to Deprovision MMS and then to Re-Provide MMS. That should get it to work.
