No red button.

Services? Live Big Brother, first looks of the Channel 4 dramas such as Desperate Housewives, Hollyoaks, etc.

You'll get E4 and E4+1, but there probably won't be any interactive stuff, other than a page or two on Teletext on 4. Freeview boxes have the red button, but it's mostly the BBC who make use of it.

There is a red button but doesn't do much, only really any use for bbc interactive (events such as Wimbledon and Snooker.) Not been confirmed if big brother are going to be using it or not.

Big Brother interactive is only available on Sky I think.

there are loads of others that mention the Freeview boxes and BB too but it all boils down to the same info, E4 will be on channel 14, E4+1 will be on channel 39, there will be no interactive service and it looks most likely to launch at 6.00 a.m. on Friday 27th May.

Don't buy the first one you see. Consult the Terrestrial Forum on what box would be a good one for you.

If you want to minimise cost can get a pre owned one off ebay for about £10.

Just as a point of interest, at the end of the channel menu on my Freeview box channel 704 is listed as 4T interactive. The BB press release last week was very ambiguous regarding interactive on Freeview, it seems as though there is a ready made spot for it already. The BBCi programmes are shown on the 700 channels. Having said that E4 is listed for channel 14, E4+1 cannot use channel 15 as it's already occupied by ABC so maybe 704 will be for E4+1?

E4 + 1 is on channel 39. I think 704 is for the EPG, or something.

E4+1 strikes me as being a little pointless, really

not really as some people may not be able to pick up the normal e4 but can pick up e4+1

and its time, some people may watch somethingat nine and miss the 9pm showing on e4, but the +1 will let them watch that show the same nite at a more reliable time

No interactive has not been confirmed yet, as I recieved an E-mail on friday from channel 4 saying, they had not decided yet.

4tv interactive on 704 has nothing to do with channel 4. Its a tv guide some boxes get their info from
