yep definitley entertainment. I always end up changing my mind as the series goes on but the person i want to win is the one whom i found most entertaining.

I would rather be interested than entertained. A dog licking its arse could be entertaining, but not very interesting.

The kind of people who feel like they need to be entertaining to be on the show have added to my growing dissinterest over the years.
Its all become an act.

None of them have ever been entertaining enough for me to watch BB just for entertainment. I would not watch the show at all if there was no HM I liked.

That doesn't mean I'd want them as a friend. On the other hand, the HMs have to include at least one that I'd want to spend a lot of time with as a viewer.

Why can't you do those things even if you have a favourite?

Entertaining BUT I have to like them. Victor entertained me but I didn't like him...

Maybe they should put a dog with worms in the house, purely for entertaintainment value.

I may be wrong but I feel the reason we don't get decent HMs now is due to the the open bathroom.

Your applying to BB this year in the knowledge that you can't have your privacy in the shower and possibly puts people off.

Only a certain kind of person ( fame hungry) would think its worth it.

I'm big on first impressions - and I can honestly say that my first night impressions usually stay with me for the rest of the show.

I tend to try and mix the two. If I don't like them, then I find it difficult to be entertained by them because they just annoy me - and although that could be argued as entertaining, if I want to be annoyed then I can just go and see my mother-in-law for an hour and I'm sorted. If they don't entertain me then I don't like them, and vice versa.

Last year though it was more difficult to find one that ticked both boxes.

I don't think its just the bathroom though that puts people off, its the whole concept. There are loads of people out there who would probably love to do something like this, but really do not want the fame that goes with it, so would therefore not bother. If it were a closed experiment, with no cameras or TV show then I think you would get very different people entering the house. However, there wouldn't be much point to it, other than as a true psychological experiment.

I have to agree here. I'm an attention seeking chav wannabee, and I would love to go on big brother. In fact, I have a past that was, shall we say, not pure, and I'm sure the tabloids would pick up on that. In addition, there's the fact that all my ins and outs would be on TV! That would make my childrens lives hell at school, and there is no way on earth that I would put them through that deliberately. So I just settle for being an anonymous fan and poster here

I could watch something else for entertainment, or go off and do something else with my time. I want to be interested in what's going on with the hm's. If whatever it is is entertaining that's a bonus. If the sort of people this show now atrracts could cut the acting down a bit, the interest and enthusiasm I once had for this show would come back. I watch only out of some sick curiosity now and never for as long as I used to and definately not for all the reasons I used to enjoy it.
