I'm just wondering if it's worth buying one of the Freeview boxes someone mentioned here for about £45. Any suggestions on what to buy? The main reason of course is that my hubby and I argue every year as he hates BB and I want peace to watch it when I want.
I have a question for any techies. I've got an old Philips On Digital box upstairs and use it sometimes to watch ITV2. I've never really tried to tune into anything else as I think you had to subscribe and this is no longer available. Is this like freeview and if I do a scan will I get any of these channels? Sorry for being such a thicko.

Your old OnDigital box IS a freeview box!
To update it, simply go to "Add Channels" and let it scan for all the channels. You'll get 30odd TV channels and quite a few radio ones, and you don't have to pay a penny.
