OMG I just rescanned and although I now have E4, it has changed the order of all my channels around! It's such a mess

just re-scan again. my STB does the every so often as well.

should be OK after a second re-scan.

RKO'd This has happened to me a few times, you need to totally retune all your channels as if you were starting from scratch to get them in the right order, not just search for new channels.

na it's ok, i managed to do it now. i re-tuned in the early hours of this morning before 705 came through. i retuned again after 2, and its here. quality on all channels are fine..bring on big brother!

It's messed still messed up even after I rescanned; ITV1 is Channel 1, ITV3 is Channel 2, ITV2 is Channel 3 and the audio channels are scattered here there and everywhere

How do I totally retune all my channels? I'm using Thomson DTI2300

Mine is exactly the same

sorted now. Turned my box off and then switched it back on and both E4 and E4+1 were fine.

E4+1 now broadcasting BB6 auditions.

Im getting no sound on E4

I guess we are on the later switch over time down here in Somerset, E4+1 is working fine and 705 has shown the test card and adverts OK but still not getting channel 14 on the new channel scan yet.

705 is broadcasting to me, comes up with a white screen with BB logo!

I live in Somerset (near Minehead) and I have got all the channels. I think in our area we do pick up from the Welsh transmitter though as we get Welsh BBC, ITV and Channel 4 on our Freeview box.

I am further over than you (Yeovil) I think we are more likely to get ours from the Mendip one, if it works the same as ordinary TV, though I am not sure, this is all new to me.

I just popped home and done a scan, I can only get E4+1.

As I mentioned earlier I can't get any of the ITV channels anyway, so I'm not holding out too much hope!!

We are just lucky here we can pick up off both the Mendip and the Welsh transmitters. Our television downstairs and our Sky dish pick up from the Mendip transmitter but we get better reception and more channels on Freeview if we tune into the Welsh one. My mum who lives five minutes away from us cannot get E4 on her Freeview yet so I think she must have hers tuned into the Mendip transmitter.

Your Sky dish picks up from a satellite somewhere above the equator.

Thanks Linda, I can wait, I'm sure they'll get round to us eventually I've got Sky in another room so at least I don't have to miss anything, this Freebox idea was just a handy backup so I could watch while I'm on the computer.

oooo e4 ande4 1 is working on my freeview

My freeview box isnt picking up 705 I'll try again later.
E4+1 works fine, E4 isnt.

Sorry being really dim there. I usually just leave all the technical stuff to my husband. Its good enough for me that it works I don't feel the need to know how.
