How does a mobile phone alarm work (the way it turns itself on)?
Hello
How does the alarm feature work on most mobile phones, where it has the capability to turn itself on so you do not waste the battery, on some phones its called the Autopower feature. Is there a tiny bit of power still left on the phone so it can still turn on at the required time to sound the alarm? Thanks this has been bugging me? Potatolegs

Yes, a tiny bit of power is still being used. Almost nothing these days really switches off fully. The off button generally puts it into some sort of standby mode. As mdma said, the clock part is still running all the time.
