Innocent days, I remember when DS was all fields.

They got greedy didn't they? Now the producers are looking for even more gimmicks to get the GBP to part with their dosh, which makes me think they'e got a lot of surprises (ie public voting as much as possible) in store.

This is why I think the 'mole' rumour could well be true. If the public are 'controlling' him then that's more dosh in the bank for them.

Some years I've felt the show was a bit mean and cheap looking I think this year they're going to spend some serious dosh (well hoping anyway!)

Just discovered this thread - thought I'd put my twopennieth in. I feel the same about BB1 - other BBs are entertaining at times, and it looks like BB6 will have its moments, but nothing I've seen on BB has engaged me emotionally in the same way as BB1 and the drama that unfolded with Nick.

Watching some of the footage again on the Top 20 Housemates, I don't think Nick actually was being particularly two faced: Big Brother demanded he had to nominate and give his reasons. His reasons for nominating Sada and Caroline were because he thought they didn't function well as part of the team - he wasn't actually slagging them off or saying he really disliked them as individuals. I don't think it's necessarily contradictory or two-faced to have nominated some-one on that basis, and still want to be supportive to them when the whole process was starting to get to them. He did lie when he was trying to re-assure them by saying he hadn't nominated them - but that may have been a rather paternal response to seeing them upset. It would have been far 'nastier' to have been brutally honest and told them what he really thought - i.e.that they didn't work well as part of the team, which would have made them feel even worse in those moments.

So, even looking at the highly edited footage with which we're presented, it's possible to have a different 'take' on events in the BB house. It's called 'reality tv' but actually there are, in fact, several different versions of 'reality' involved!

Ah yes - Tom saying, in a very uncomfortable way "Nick has a habit of writing things down".
Although Tom was the catalyst, I don't think he would ever have confronted Nick. He was intelligent, but he could only really deal with one to one conversations. Craig was explosive enough to bring it all out in the open.
