Hi everybody and welcome to the new Team Steve. I'm sure this thread will prove as popular as the original, but we've a huge reputation to live up to. We will miss the old thread but it gives us the opportunity to start afresh.

I hope we can keep it in the spirit with which it was originally intended when our old friend, Gentle Joan started it off way back in November.

Sorry I'm late, I left a nice lemon sponge in the old thread, went back to get it and Beth had locked the door.

Luckily a window was open and I managed to get me cake

Congrats to all Steve fans on your massive thread tally, and I really do mean it.
I was asked a lot about Steve & Simon on Loose Women today.
It will be shown on Bank Holiday Monday.
No editting, and no misquotes, just from the heart.
Well done to Steve, and I really respect his supporters,
Through the years, I've seen fans of other artists come and go, and no matter what, you really do seem devoted and loyal.
Whether you like me or not, I would like to say that I think that your support is brilliant, and he does deserve it.
As I've ALWAYS said, Steve has a great voice.

Looking forward to the next X Factor.
Let's hope they discover some more talented, special people.

The very best with your album and thanks with your good wishes as regards Steve, and also your lovely words for his fans You don't have such a bad lot of fans's yourself So far and this is just my observation, yourself and Steve seem to have aquired the best and most loyal fans out of the X Factor acts, and I am not just talking about this site, but a few other sites although I know of quite a few very lovely & loyal Tabby ones just from this site, so have to mention them

Again all the best to you, and I will be tuning in to Loose Women on Monday, as I did when Steve was on there Although I normally can't stand that show, I will admit.
