Oh for goodness sake, will you just go away now? This is an appreciation thread whether you like it or not, and you're just going to get alerted all the time, eventually leading up to your ban.

Morning fellow Stevettes!

Just been watching the old X Factor performances. Brought back some great memories......like wanting to punch my TV screen at Sharon on the night of the final. lol It was great watching it all over again (thanks to Liz-g-s) and it's got me looking forward to X Factor 2. Even the theme tune gave me goosebumps! lol

I've decided that Higher & Higher was my favourite performance from the show.

Love to all.

Glad you are enjoying it Karen. It brings back memories doesn't it.
Don't forget Steve is on GMTV sometime tomorrow,. Someone posted that they saw an advert today saying he will be singing on Entertainment Extra which starts at 8.35am. I don't know if he will be on GMTV earlier though - they often have guests on both parts.

Morning TS

Hope everyone is looking forward to GMTV tomorrow. Did anyone else hear Steve on Saga FM? He sung two acoustics and had an interview with the DJ.

The DJ also mentioned Steve will be singing live in Birmingham later in the year, I'm guessing, or hoping, he means the tour

BTW Karen, whenever I watch the episodes, I always get goosebumps too, he's came so far, it was 6 months exactly on the 11th and he has a number one single and album under his belt, I cant wait for whatever is next

Yes Liz, I did remember that he's on GMTV tomorrow. I'll make sure I don't miss it. I'll definitely be up in time to watch it so I should be able to see it no problem. I hope he sings DWMF. I'll make sure I watch the whole thing, so as not to miss anything.

Didn't hear Steve on Saga Stacey! But I'm glad you got to hear him at least. Looking forward to the tour later this year....if there is one....has that been confirmed? And yes, he has come a long way since he won the show.

Hello Team Steve

What's the latest Steve news then? I've lost track cos my interest in Xfactor has been deflected onto a certain southern rocker on AI

Has anyone heard a song by Elvin Bishop called "Fooled around and Fell in Love"? It's blues really and, of course, it has my mandatory guitar solo in it, but I could actually hear Steve singing that one.

Bonjour

Just thought I'd pop in and say aloha to TS

Don't think I'd posted in this new thread yet

Does anyone actually know if/when Steve is releasing another single from the album btw? I'm confused now lol!

Edit: Hi SR too don't know the Elvin Bishop song though hehe!

Lots of love,

Sally x

Just thought I'd pop in to say hi to everyone. It's annoying that there's so little news at the moment.

It has been announced this morning that Luther Vandross - Dance with my Father - has died. So sad, he was only 54. I am sure Steve will be devastated by this news (as will every soul fan). RIP Luther

Couldn't agree more, he was so young to die & so incredibly talented & Steve will feel the loss along with all soul fans. Luther you are sadly missed

Hi everyone. I was really sad to hear about Luther.
It's funny how quickly holidays fade. I had a lovely time and yet within days of getting back it was almost as though I hadn't been away.

I go the same gym that Steve frequents occasionally and I have to say he acted like the perfect gentleman and held the door open for me on one occasion. (Of course, if he had let it slam shut in my face I would now be telling you what a total diva he was).

I didn't see much of the X-factor when it was aired, but one day when Steve was exercising on a bike placed in front of the screens, the video for his last single came on. It included images from the series. There were hardly any people in the gym at that point but it was quite a surreal moment as I watched from my treadmill behind him.
p.s.
I was on the treadmill first, lest you think me some kind of stalker!

Just popping in to say hi to everyone. Hope all is well in Steve's world.

Got a pm from someone from the X-factor asking about the type of fans Steve has, about fans of X-Factor and about possible interviews. I replied and told her that I am a huge fan of Steve, have defended him and love the X-factor but have not done anything wacky. I was surprised to receive this e-mail given that I've made very few posts on his official site.

I suggested you but then wondered whether I should have done that. I intended to send you a pm to let you know but had to go out and forgot about. I'm pleased that you're ok about people suggesting you.
