I'm doing great at the moment. Am still out gallavanting though.....in fact, I'm off out tonight again! lol And I have another hospital appointment tomorrow.....I was out on Monday night too when I had hospital on Tuesday! I didn't drink that night though....but I am tonight! They're not taking blood from me this time so I figured it would be okay as long as I only drink in moderation (like you know I always do! ) lol

Wow, isn't Simon supportive of his acts. He is as big of a tosser as Sharon and Louis.

Can't believe Simon could be so shallow. I've defended him so many times in the past but it seems he really will say and do anything to drum up interest in himself and the next series. After failing to promote Steve properly he then complains about the album sales & then makes veiled comments about his contract - he should consider himself lucky if Steve wants to stay with him. On the brighter side, thank heavens for DS - Steve's own site locked the thread that tried to discuss this (despite Steve saying several times he's a big boy, others over there seem to think he needs protecting all the time and should only read good news).

Yeah - was watching the news and they did a bit about the X Factor, was gutting to hear Simon saying that hopefully they will have a better result with the winner.

I just hope he gets a deal with an independent that will allow us to hear his voice - IMO such a shame if his fans don't get to hear him anymore..

Hi fellow Steve fans. On another forum I was alerted to some comments that Simon made re who the true winners are and I thought that I'd check that you guys are OK.

I suppose Simon is speaking in literal terms but it's hardly encouraging for Steve. What's he doing to help Steve? I remember that Steve didn't have the best of promotions and had a long gap between winning and releasing his album whereas Louis was on the case immediately. Perhaps Simon had too many fingers in too many pies to devote to Steve. Seems like he left Steve to sink yet compares Steve to G4 when Louis obviously went all out to capitalise off the back of the show. I'm disappointed.

Anyway, someone told me that Steve was rude to one of his fans (on his official). Is this true? How do you guys feel about that? Was the fan rude to him? I just find it a bit odd since he was so grateful to his fans.

Steve must really feel let down - I saw a thread entitled something like Steve - X-Factor killing music. I haven't read it but if true, considering that he may be dropped and, the fact that G4 are being seen as more successful, then I can only guess at why he is saying that. Would he say that if he felt happy?

How Simon has the audacity to lay any blame at Steve's door is beyond me. Steve did the best with what he was given. He was told to do an album of covers when all he wants to do is original stuff and still got a number one album, thats not bad going IMO. The blame for me lies with Simon Cowell, his promotion of Steve was diabolical and just shows him up to be the man that he is, somebody who's in it for his own personal gain and to hell with talent. As for the fan that he was rude to, you'll probably find the answers on his OS Candice. IMO this "fan" and I use that term very loosely got what he deserved!

Hey Dee Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you about Simon's audacity. Only yesterday, I was wondering about when Steve was going to release his next album and thinking about visiting this thread to ask about it. I'm so disappointed that things seem to have gone downhill. Still, Steve might be able to get a recording contract with a different label where he has more autonomy.

Re the fan, can you recall the title of the thread on the OS? or provide a link if it's not too much trouble? Don't worry if you can't/don't have the time. I'll take your word for it that the fan got what they were looking for I don't visit his site at all but if DS is anything to go by, the thread may well be off the page. Cheers

Glad to see you guys are still supporting Steve. I'm really looking forward to the next X-Factor show but I hear that they are going to have more freaks on there. I hope they don't spoil it too much

Steve is 100% right with what he said there. Simon didn't care for him, and buggers of to the US to American Idol leaving Steve by himself. Simon just cares for his salaries on these shows, not the acts.

Simon's comments make the new series of X Factor a complete farce. Whoever wins, if it is not who the record company want, then they will give them the "million pound deal", let them release an album of covers, then drop them just in time for the new series. Don't believe a word of the "public vote for the winner", the record company chooses the winner and it probably won't be the act the public have chosen . Simon Cowell should be sued for breach of promise

I applaud Steve for his attitude in expsoing the great SC. Look at his chosen artists, first Gareth, he disowned them after the Jordan thing. Then Michelle and now Steve. It is just what we expected of him, that have been fans since PI1 and have gradually become extremewly cynical. If you want to be a winner without our votes, hope you get the odioud little toad Louis

Someone posted on another forum that kelly Clarkson said about the same and broke from Simons clutches and is doing ok now Was listening to her the other day. Great voice

There will be a second album for Steve and it won't be covers. Steve posted about there being a second album on his site

The thread wouldn't make much sense unless you were there the evening it sort of kicked off Candice. A lot of quite vile stuff and not from Steve I hasten to add had to be deleted. I was on the site that evening and know roughly what was being said. Some of the people who have joined there but are no Steve fans have managed to take it all out of context now due to the missing posts. Didn't help much there did I

Managed to read a lot of what went on that night and yes there WAS a lot of trolls trying to wind everybody up. As much as I still love Steve (that will never change) I wish he wouldn't set himself up for all the negative reactions.
