Well, it managed to make me cry again, excellent episode, loved the ending, and growing quite fond of Captain Jack, against all my expectations.

Even a mention of 'nanobots' by Billie Piper, which is what they were called in Red Dwarf.
Looks like next week we're back on Earth once again, and the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles are back! |

I'm nearly 50.
I watched the first ever episode of Doctor Who when it was first shown. That story (Empty Child / Doctor Dances) is not just the best Doctor Who story I've ever seen - but I'll stick my neck out and say I think it's the best TV I've ever seen. Absolute brilliance. Superb script - funny, scary, clever, surprising. Excellent performances. What a superb series. And this was the highest point among many high points. |

Well what would you call them? Nanites / Nanobots.
It's not a new name and has been with us for decades. One of the Perry Rhodan stories was called Beware the Nanobots AFAIK. |

It seems like this ep was slightly shorter again!
One of the tv mags mentioned a scene where CJ was "nude" - I didn't see that scene (not that I'd want to!), or was it so traumatic I've blocked it out ?

Brilliant episode. Didn't put a foot wrong as far as I'm concerned. I was grinning from ear to ear throughout.

It has to be said that entertainment of that calibre justifies the licence fee.. Well done BBC and all production staff, crew and the damned good perfomances of the cast....

Fantastic episode. So tense I could hardly watch - if there had been any space behind my settee I might well have climbed back there.
![]() Brilliant ending too. |
