don't think CJ was ever meant to get his kit off in this episode....my understanding was it is a later programmme and probably when he runs into the Trinny and Susannah characters

Yeah, strangely better than any that end up in Coupling (Steven Moffatt writes that right?)

LOVE It!LOVE It!LOVE It!
I have to admit I've fancied the pants off of CE since "Our Friends in the North" anyway, but this series has just been JOY unconfined!. Brilliant brilliant Brilliant, in every department

Lets be honest, and I'm loving the new Dr Who, but wasn't this episide a tad contrived?! The ending was too neat, the enemy wasn't really evil, it just misunderstood human DNA. Oh, and I would have SO loved it if the Dr danced with Capt Jack!!

Now please don't hound me off the thread, it is only my humble opinion! I didn't vote poor, I voted 'good.'

Not me, am too dumb to think laterally. It never occured to me that she might be his mum.

What another great epsidoe. I don';t think ti was quite as good as last week (the 'banana' stuff was used a bit too much and I didn't like the way the Doctor 'pushed' the nongenes/nanobots/nintes away towards the people), but really I can find little fault.

If anything the first 15/20 mintues were scarier than last weeks epsiode. I was sat on my own this week and there was a door periodically creaking somewhere in the house just at the points where the tape ran out and Nancy asked who was typing...made me jump out of my skin it did

Loved it really. And next week looks great too...can't wait as usual

Coupling is very well written too. One of the cleverest UK comedies for years.

Same here. Last week made it seem there was something more interesting and exciting to it.

Hello all (first post here, but I've been reading for ages).

This is the first series of Dr Who I've ever watched, but the whole Bad Wolf thing has me hooked, amongst other things. I'm enjoying it muchly.

The line about Santa Claus was amazing, and fit the flow so well that I cackled. Cackling is good, honest.

It's not a 'Fantastic' for me though, merely a very good - only Dalek and End Of The World get a fantastic so far. But I'm sure there'll be a couple more towards the end of the series

(p.s. Anyone get what the bad wolf reference was? I couldn't help but think the "close the door, there'll be a draft" had a very 'huff and puff' feel to it!(

I think it really links in to the way modern science is examining ways of using stem cells and embryos to cure diseases. We do not really know what might happen if man interferes too much.

But that's what made it so brilliant. There was no enemy, no evil. Just an little nanobots doing what they thought was right.

Thoroughly enjoyed tonights episode, and it's associated feel-goodness.

When the doctor lifted the empty child up in the air everyone in the house had something in their eye...

Not sure what to think of the TARDIS "disco lights" at the end...

Maybe I would have if she didn't look about 15! Although Florence Hoath is 20, apparently - if I'd looked that up beforehand I might have guessed.

On the Bad Wolf theme, presumably the series was filmed a while ago so any Bad Wolf references were already filmed and not being manipulated etc as a reaction to anything on boards such as these?

I would say keep watching, cheeky - Cap'n Jack and the Doctor are rumoured to get a bit closer in a future spisode.

Exactly. I was so excited about this episode. I'd bought a bottle of vino, some snacks and me and the boyf were all ready to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Alas, it just didn't live up to the previous one. Part one was well creepy, this was wasn't.

Oh, how good does next weeks look. I live in Cardiff so i can't wait to spot the sights.

True but it's more comic in the situations, I think the one liners in tonight's DW were better and more memorable..

I do like coupling though, don't get me wrong.

Yep. If I remember correctly to my German classes last year we used the word 'schletche' to describe how we felt if we weren't feeling to good: in other words if we felt 'bad'. So maybe 'schlechter wolf' means something more than 'bad wolf', maybe like people say 'badder wolf' or 'badest wolf' as we are getting closer to the where it may all be revealed...

Well I just voted good this week. Don't know whether it was because I had to switch over from a gripping tennis match to watch it and so wasn't totally concentrated , but it all seemed a bit "easy" to beat the enemy. From the "go to bed", to the escaping via CJ's before unseen techology (the gun and teleporting), to Nancy saving the day, it was all a bit neatly wrapped up. And I couldn't help but think if the Dr isn't supposed to change history, Jamie should have died at the end anyway.

Still love the show more than anything else on tv, but this wasn't one of my faves.
