I don't know if this has been posted yet but the identity of Bad Wolf has been leaked on to the Net.

DO NOT look at this if you don't want to know who the BW really is.

When I was about 10, I got stuck for the ending of my English homework. We had to write a short story, and I couldn't figure out how to finish it, then I had a brainwave, and carefully wrote "then I woke up, and it had all been a dream". I was sooo pleased with myself - I was only 10, and it seemed incredibly original. I got the worst b*ll*cking from my teacher, who said it was the most massive cop-out ever, and generally hauled me over the coals for total derivativeness. I was pretty upset, I probably hadn't even seen the Wiz of Oz at the time, and I really hadn't nicked anyone else's ending knowingly.
However.... actually, that would be really funny. But yes, probably cause an absolute uproar, but I think RTD has been used to that in his time

I thought that:

Personally, and I'm surprised others haven't commented, I thought the 4th name on the cast line was more interesting.

I assume it's rubbish but would you really expect
Spoiler
Rodrick
to be in it?

LOL I think the last paragraph in that article has a ring of truth about it.

Perhaps they do it Dallas style. The Doctor is killed, and then Rose wakes up and finds him in the shower. Possibly with Captain Jack.

I might write to RTD and suggest it.

First up - hello! I found this place looking for DW spoilers yesterday, and it's been interesting reading the speculation/spoilers. I've stumbled across a couple of other things that you might find interesting, so I thought I'd post them. Some of it's already been mentioned, but there's some other interesting bits.

First off, from http://www.doctorwhoaustralia.org/ne...octorwho.shtml:

Spoiler
Bad Wolf
169. 110605 - 112 Episode 1 by Russell T Davies

The Doctor and Rose travel several hundred years into the future to an abandoned and destroyed London to meet outcasts who have captured an immortal human - or so they think.

The new crew of the Doctor, Rose and Jack become entrapped in a variety of game shows that is almost like something the Varosians loved to dabble in. This is Orwell's '1984' meets 'The Mind Robber' and 'The Celestial Toymaker/The Nightmare Fair'.

Can the Doctor, Rose and Jack escape from Big Brother, Survivor and other shows to find out what is really happening in the world?

Adam returns as the Bad Wolf. Annoyed at the Doctor for stranding him with year 200,000 technology in his head in 2012, he manipulates time and retrieves 6 Daleks from their state of time looped non existence. (Or perhaps he creates them. )

and...

Spoiler
Parting of the Ways.
169. 180605 - 113 Episode 2 by Russell T Davies

The new generation of battle Daleks and flying Daleks have arrived. The Daleks will be updated for the 21st century. Whether this means they'll be able to morph into other creatures (Spider Daleks) have more attachments (Gunner Dalek) or even be a completely new race of Daleks remains to be seen.

Update: The Doctor is dragged into space time leaving Rose at the helm of the TARDIS. Rose must go on alone to try and find a way to get the Doctor back. When she eventually tracks him down he has a completely new face...

Update 2: David Tennant is listed as being in this episode, so this may mean that the regeneration happens at the end of episode 112.

A different opinion is at http://p216.ezboard.com/ftheanorakzo...icID=541.topic - it's a bit long to post here, and most of it's already been mentioned here anyway.

Lastly, and sorry if I'm just being slow on the uptake, but has anyone else spotted this at http://www.whoisdoctorwho.co.uk ?

Spoiler
It's been an interesting week. UNIT have changed their password (nice try guys, but we'll get in there, don't you fear), someone's been sending me plans of a nuclear power station, and my ex-girlfriend's been in touch.

Those of you who've been following this site for a while will know that the last fact means trouble. 'Cos if she's around, so is Doctor Death.

See ya next week. If there is one. Mix

Sorry if this is all old news, new here as I said and it's taken me long enough just reading through this thread

only three weeks to go (sulk)... how are we gonna get by without our weekly fill of dw? btw does anyone know if the beeb are planning on filling in new fans of the show by repeating old eps at any stage over the summer? i personally think these would make great viewing maybe 6pm-ish on bbc2? just a thought but i think it might be worth at least showing the episodes which RTD used as the bible for the production crew?

6pm on BBC2 is a total graveyard slot as far as TV is concerned. I'm not even home from work by then. Personally, I would love to see this series of Doctor Who repeated on Sunday evenings on BBC3 as autumn rolls in. As someone has mentioned elsewhere, the enjoyment of this series has been marred slightly by the fact that it is still daylight when it is broadcast. It would be perfect for the dark, cold autumn evenings. If they started on 25 September they would complete the run on Sunday 18 December, and the following week they could round off the repeats with the new Christmas episode. That would be fab.

My young nephews got very excited when they heard I'd bought a Police Box for my back garden. Turns out they've been watching Doctor Who every Saturday and love it.

I asked them which episodes they liked best, and what they think of Rose etc. They didn't have a clue what I was talking about - turns out their mum has been getting them to watch the classic Who episodes on UK Gold. They've missed the new ones completely!

It's a site the BBC has set up as a bit of an extension of the series. There's also www.whoisdoctorwho.co.uk
