Oh come on, guys. Grow up. If you haven't got anything interesting or original to say then don't say anything.

Possibly. But Daddy Yankee also makes a GREAT song called "Gasolina". I would say go out and buy it, but not released in England - so download! Spread the word!

It'd be okay with a normal length thread but when this one's already over 50 pages after 5 days it makes it really hard to follow the thread.

For instance, I couldn't check it yesterday due to not being near a computer. When I looked this morning I had about 10-15 pages to trawl through.

Perhaps if the mods actually saw some sense and created a Sci-Fi forum this problem would be resolved as everything Doctor Who wouldn't have to be bulked together.

There MUST be a justification for one now, especially when The Farm can get one of its own!

I've said all along there was justification for a sci-fi thread, and despite several of us requesting one we were told 'not yet.'

Perhaps if more people added their pleas and used the 'contact us' button, the position might be reconsidered?

And I can't believe The Farm AND Strictly Come Dancing(???) have their own forum and yet we can't have a sci-fi forum?

It may be desirable to have a dedicated sci-fi forum, but that will not solve the problem of nuisance posters. They'll just follow us there. The best thing to do is just ignore them. If they aren't getting a reaction they'll get bored and move on.

for my part i have to say that i have seen very little in the way of "nuisance posters" on here, most of the discussion is on topic, even if sometimes prone to lapsing into the obsure.. i agree that a dedicated forum would be a great idea and am amongst those who have requested it previously, on the grounds of making it easier for sci-fi fans to find and join in the discussion.. however, i dont think it would significantly improve the quality of the board which i think is already pretty high

Just linking back to what we talking about yesterday (that'll be about 10 pages back then, hence no quote) I found this;
DT talks about DW
So I will get my Scottish accent and there may be a kilt regeneration moment! Hurrah!

Here's our Popbitch mention in full - contains spoiler info so concealed.

Spoiler
The Timelord Show - Dr Who is a reality TV star

Dr Who fans are in froth on the internet about a big twist in the series. Each episode has contained references to Bad Wolf - graffiti, posters etc which, they say, will turn out to be the name of a reality TV show that the Doctor, in Truman Show style, doesn't know he's been starring in all series.

Hmm - I wonder if they looked at the threads on here?

At least they didn't take the lazy route and quote directly like one journo did recently.

Didn't Sylvester McCoy have a Scottish accent?

Yes, but he was asked to 'soften' it or tone it down.

They also wouldn't allow him to wear his spectacles as it would make the Doctor look 'weak' so he had to get contact lenses.
