NTL seems to have a problem in the ad/communications dept. I phoned this week to have broadband installed, having seen the ads for £17.99 per month. To my surprise, I was told it will be £10.50 per month - price has gone down. I asked if this was a temporary price and was told'No'. I'm obviously not complaining about that, but as a long-standing customer of NTL with phone & cable, I'd like to be informed if there's live streaming available from them. I mentioned BB to the chap on the phone at the time and he didn't say anything about it. Urrrrggggghh!

Well I don't think the bloke I spoke to was lying, and if he was then I'll be phoning up tomorrow to say I don't like being lied to.

Wouldn't surprise me! I'm already on my second box.
At least I can watch Big Brother on Channel 4 this year on ntl - for about a year or so Channel 4 and ITV 1 were just blank! thankfully they returned a few weeks back but I wonder how long for.
reset it and went to E4...tried the red button and the interactive button...MO44 oh well I will live ...just

Maybe he was told to tell people that just to get rid of them...wouldn't suprise me with NTL

Yeah I've tried but until the box breaks altogether or loses channels again I don't think they'll come round.
NTL CS ONLY tell customers what they want to hear.
This is a proven fact based on the fiasco that was NTL doing the broadband upgrade. You phone NTL CS about that and they would have told you anything you watned to hear. Literally.
TBH, i dont buy wht CS told ya.
But, if it is true, my PACE box couldnt handle it anyway so either way I wont get 24/7 live stream.

I was getting lots of MO44s, engineer came and swapped the box.
My kids would love it if the NTL interactive works this year, so they can have total control of the Sky box. Oh well if it doesn't work, at least NTL are putting Cartoon Network on the package on 1st June.

I have ntl and have not got anything on channel 4 on e4 I am just getting the bbc progs coming up - should I be pressing interactive or the red button (I was pressing the red button)

It has now been confirmed by e4, The announcer just said something along the lines of "And come back to E4 for live interactive streaming on Sky, Cable and from today Freeview."
I was going to sign up to the NTL Broadband Plus live stream but it doesn't start until next Tuesday.
