This kind of thing infuriates me but after being an ntl subscriber for so long you get used to it - the false hope and promises, I gave up on it being anything like Sky a long time ago.
I'm pretty lucky though as I can just go and watch BB Live on Sky but I know for many of you that isn't an option but at least you have the live internet stream which (if you have broadband) is better than nothing. Just watch those caps! Otherwise ntl will penalise you.

CS must have been getting confused when I asked about BB Interactive stream, and must have thought I meant the BB Game - which I obviously didn't.

Well, my Sky installation is booked. NTL can, frankly, get stuffed; I'm tired of arsing around with their hideous excuse for interactive services and forever having to unplug the cable from the back of the digibox.

TV on demand bought them a bit of time, but no longer! *gibbers*

The live stream on freeview has a horrible white box saying PRESS GREEN when watching the live streaming.

Im not risking the screen burn on my lovely plasma.

Good for NTL for coming up with live streaming. I have to say though i am not impressed with the lack of BB being shown on E4 this year.
I came home yesterday and eagerly went to put on my tv in hope of tuning into BB live for the first time to find out that it didn't start to 6pm. This really is off putting to me and i am not really interested in watching live feeds online. I am not sure now when i will bother to check out the show next.

I cant believe you cant get it through NTL, but you can have it on tap with tacky freeview.

Its not all down to NTL, the software can support interactive features but it is mainly down to the actual broadcasting company to create/offer the services to NTL, so if there is no streaming BB it is channel 4's fault for not providing it, not NTL. Same goes for SKy sports not providing their interactive features to NTL.

I believe you when you say Sky won't provide their interactive services to other networks, but what I don't believe is that NTL couldn't have got the BB live stream if they wanted to when Sky, Telewest and even Freeview have managed to get it.

I also don't believe it's not NTL's responsibility that their set-top boxes lock up constantly, to the extent that I had to powercycle mine every time I switched out of the interactive snooker in the spring. For three weeks. The same thing happens most of the time if I want to order a pay-per-view event.

Finally, I'm very sure it's NTLs fault that their CS department lied to me and Paul on Saturday about their having the interactive live feed of BB. They cocked up, and they've lost a customer because of it... not that I expect them to care.
