Paul Danan is a bloody good actor, a nice guy and very entertaining. I don't love him but I can recognise talent when I see him.

Yes, she mirrors my look of disgust that is a permanant feature whenever I see the guy.

CLI is no more boring than many long, long stretches of BB. Right now it's interesting in a much more subtle way than BB will manage for some time, if it manages it at all this year.

CLI far less often reaches "maybe I should stick needles" levels of irritation.

The tabloids who puff up BB are evil. There's almost a moral obligation to watch shows the tabloids unjustly hate.

I can't stand Davina, and even Dermot is following the same official line. I'm sick of BB presenters assuming that everyone thinks alike and making shows that in effect say to anyone who thinks differently "go away, we're not making the show for people like you".

There's plenty of BB that doesn't conflict with CLI and so no reason to watch the times that do.

I watch BB. But the best-of shows have reminded me of how utterly rubbish so much of it is. I've been seriously considering not watching it at all this year; but so far all I'm doing is watching CLI instead.
