Has anyone signed up for this?

How much does it cost and is it a one-off payment for the duration of Big Brother?

NTL's Broadband Plus stream, which I was going to use, doesn't start until next Tuesday.

Typical NTL, always on the ball.

Can you go to full screen without the picture getting crap?

Mixed repys. I'm not sure if I want to sign up.

Does it use WMP or Real Player?

Would anyone recommend I sign up? Is the picture that bad?

It uses WMP.

Video and Audio is of quite good quality at the size it loads up at. If you try and go full screen, then the quality goes down, but its still viewable.

The sound problems described above now seem to have been fixed.

I payed the £14.99 for it, and i think it will be worth it. I tried to use the NTL one last year, and it just would not work properly for me. It used Real Player, so i was happy to find that they are using WMP this year.

Wonder if it'll work on other players(BSPlayer, VLCplayer)?

Digital Rights Management, basically stops people who havent paid being able to view.

Oh right.

Digital Rights Management. It allows security on premium content in WMP.

The Channel4 website will be extremely busy at the moment, everybody wanting to find out more etc... I signed up last night to be sure everything went smoothly.

I was happy to discover that my Visa Electron card was accepted. The site said Visa was accepted, but it did not mention Visa Electron, so i tried it anyway, and it worked.
