I got that when I went into C4 forums last year for a week!

These guys have only just turned up and already we have 'witch' posts, 'minger' posts, 'racist posts, etc, etc.

I may not have taken to all of them, but give them more than two hours!!!

I think I may just lurk and sometimes post from now on as alot of these threads all seem very personal, and yes, if you go on BB you have to expect it..but blimey...if I went on all my first impressions from all 5 BB's I have watched..I would never have wanted anyone to win really! Give the poor guys a chance!

I think I am too sensitive for all this!!!

Not bumping my thread which I posted 3 minutes ago and is nearly on page two..but I just saw another thread like this..so apologies to that poster!

Of course people make judgements straight away, it's human nature. The great thing is when you realise you've changed your mind.

I did this in BB3 with kate who I despised at first but ended up loving and voting for to win.

I would hate to meet *some* FM as they are so quick to judge

Yes I can understand that, But some do it with so much venom

I felt like this last year too, can see some early bonding going on here though, should be good, I can see groups developing which should create a bit of conflict as it goes on.

I agree....some of it is extremely vitriolic!

So far tonight, I'm like every other year, I have some I like, and others I dislike.... but I'm not about to say who or what, because they may end up proving me totally wrong, after all, they can only ever be first impressions this early.

I usually make up my mind after about the second week, and rarely change my mind..... so I'll leave my judgements until then.

I saw all this on the 'official' site last year and left. Everyone here said it is not the same, that the official site is crap, etc and I am not judging, I am a newbie so I have no right to, but I didn't expect it on here at all tonight, and deffo not so quickly....maybe a few days, a week, but 2 hours?

Minger? Horrible names for the witch? Horrible names for Craig? Plus a hundred other things I have read?

If peeps met me first time on here..what would they think! It's scarey!

I don't like it, this wasn't what I expected at all...and I will lurk from now on and post a bit, but not like this last week (you'll be glad to know!! ) and go and watch E4 and make my own mind up. Sorry guys!

Could you please try and get used to the housemates before you start dissing them and whatnot. You've all been waiting for tonight and as soon as it happens you can't stop yourself critising it. You don't know them yet, you havn't seen what they're actually like in the house! Please, is it too much to ask for?

They say it takes 10 seconds to make a first impression...well that time has come and gone, and it's time to diss. If they didn't want people talking shit about them then why are they in that house?

anyway, dont worry. It will calm down. This is the initial rush, and everyone is wanting to start threads because everything is moving so fast. The trouble is, we all want to post about it because we're excited, but have nothing to talk about except our first impressions


In the long haul I think this site is much better than the ch4 one

as somebody has said in another post, it is in most people's human nature to judge people when they first see them. it doesn't mean that they won't change their opinion of that particular person having gotten to know them better

let us be.

nah all i'm saying is you've had one hour to look at them, and calling people furby's etc on day one, it's a bit too farfetched.

I agree with you. I think people are mostly happy to change their minds though.

It's all part of the fun! We'll all be changing our minds within days!

For the record, I like them all so far... I think that this year will be a vintage

If we didn't give 1st impressions there'd be nothing here for you to read!

Everyone makes judgements straight away, some of us just like to jot these down. I don't mind looking back on my inital impressions and realising I was wrong, but its also interesting to see how peoples' opinions change over the duration.

These forums get pretty heated at times, especially in the later weeks. Just don't take it too seriously!

calm down dear - it's only a reality tv programme

Last year I didn't like a single one of the HM's when they first moved in - but of course I grew to like them once the veneer wore off and we started to see who they really were.

Must say I loved some the the BS we were fed in the audition tapes. Roberto has been a para, a professional windsurfer and some other outlandish occupation! Yeah, right! But it all adds to the fun.

Too right - I wouldn't touch the C4 one with a bargepole. We're a much more intelligent bunch here - and at least most of us are able to write and spell English!

Oh I so love it when people tell me to calm down when it is an opinion of mine. Not at all patronising.

Yep..okay then..calm down everyone who has started hate threads..and just enjoy it without being so vicious.

I enjoy BB alot, but not this.

Yes, I have noticed that straight away. The level of hatred by some people on here is quite disconcerning.
